Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2025
Welcome to FixFlow. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully—they explain what we do, what we don't do, and what you can expect.
What FixFlow Is (And Isn't)
FixFlow is a referral and lead generation network. We connect homeowners who need plumbing help with licensed plumbing contractors in their area.
Here's what that means:
- We do not employ plumbers or perform plumbing work ourselves
- We do not set prices for plumbing services
- We do not guarantee the quality of work performed by contractors
- We do verify that contractors in our network are licensed and insured
- We do facilitate the connection between you and a local pro
Think of us as a matchmaking service for plumbing help—not a plumbing company.
Contractors Are Independent Businesses
Every plumber you're connected with through FixFlow is an independent business. They set their own:
- Prices and payment terms
- Availability and scheduling
- Service warranties and guarantees
- Business practices and policies
When a contractor gives you a quote and you agree to move forward, you're entering into an agreement with them—not with FixFlow. Any work performed, warranties offered, or disputes that arise are between you and the contractor.
Pricing & Work Disputes
If you have an issue with:
- The price you were quoted or charged
- The quality of the work performed
- Scheduling or availability problems
- Warranty claims or follow-up work
You'll need to resolve that directly with the contractor. We don't mediate disputes or handle refunds for services we didn't provide.
That said, if you had a bad experience with a contractor from our network, please let us know at support@fixflowleads.com. We take feedback seriously and may remove contractors who consistently receive complaints.
No Guarantee of Response Time
We work hard to connect you with a plumber quickly, especially for emergencies. However, we cannot guarantee:
- A contractor will be available in your area
- How quickly a contractor will call you back
- That a contractor can come out the same day
- That any specific contractor will take your job
Availability depends on your location, the time of your request, and the contractors in our network. We do our best, but plumbing emergencies don't always happen at convenient times.
Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- FixFlow is not liable for any damages resulting from work performed (or not performed) by contractors
- We're not responsible for any injury, property damage, or financial loss related to plumbing services
- Our total liability for any claim related to our service is limited to $100
- We provide our service "as is" without warranties of any kind
We know this sounds like typical legal language (because it is), but the point is simple: we connect you with plumbers, but we don't control what they do. Your agreement is with them.
Acceptable Use
When using FixFlow, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information (real name, working phone number, correct ZIP code)
- Only submit requests for legitimate plumbing needs
- Not submit fake, spam, or test requests
- Not use the service for any illegal purpose
- Not harass or abuse contractors who contact you
We reserve the right to block users who abuse the service or submit fraudulent requests.
Communications Consent
By submitting a request, you consent to receive phone calls, text messages, and/or emails from FixFlow and our partner contractors about your service request. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time, but you'll still receive messages related to active service requests.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll post a notice on our website. Continuing to use FixFlow after changes means you accept the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
